(1)熔体分解产生的气体

有些原料加热后会产生挥发性气体,这些气体多带腐蚀性,它们会对模具产生腐蚀。因此,设备停止工作时,应用软布将模具擦净,并闭合模具,若较长时间不用时,模腔内要喷防锈剂,在关闭模具时还要涂上黄油,堵上浇口。

Therefore, when the equipment stops working, the mold is wiped clean by soft cloth, and the mold is closed. If it is not used for a long time, the mold cavity should be sprayed with antirust agent, butter should be applied when the mold is closed and the gate should be plugged.

(2)模具中的冷却水

模具中多采用冷却水以进行冷却,因此成型设备周围水气较多。如将模具冷却到露点以下,空气中的潮气就会在模具表面结成水珠,如不及时擦去就易生锈。特别是在模具停止工作后,会很快产生冷凝水。因此,停止成型时,也要关闭冷却水,并将模具擦干。

If the mold is cooled below the dew point, moisture in the air will form water droplets on the surface of the mold. If not erased in time, it is easy to rust. Especially when the mold stops working, condensate will soon be produced. Therefore, when the molding is stopped, the cooling water must be turned off and the mold dried.

(3)成型时产生的碳化物

模具在较长时间工作后,成型材料中析出和分解生成碳化物,常使模具磨损、腐蚀或生锈。对此,若发现有碳化物生成,应立即清除干净。
